The USA based freelancer, Andre Junget has a vibrant and full of life portfolio on our website. With a wide selection of designs displayed, Andre has managed to create the pieces in a collective fashion, where his familiar designs relate to a specific topic.
He has also won ASAI awards of excellence for his work in 2005, 2008 and 2009 to show for influence of his style of drawings and designs.
His recent work displays features of transport mechanisms, which are all outstanding illustrations as they look like a photographer has taken shots of them from a first look.
Andre explains his love for architecture as "the way it used to be". Those architectural designs are based off home-fronts, building exteriors and landscapes. These will contain water colours, pencil and pen and ink designs, drawn by the hand of Andre. Take a look at his piece, Water Villa, which shows his skill with water colours. The piece is set on a blue background and a designed boarder to add more visual effect.
As his designs are hand drawn, it is hard to believe that Andre does not graphically enhance any of his designs due to the amazing quality of them but he only uses CAD models and sketch ups to work from.
None of Andre's illustrations have been digitally enhanced and that also gives them the distinctive feel, they have had a lot of time and effort spent on them. He considers himself a pen illustrator that idolises working within the architectural medium and with this, he plans to pay tribute to past architects and keep their name alive
Andre would like to continue to evolve as an artist and as a business person as he now wants to take on the marketing world with the combined already obtained knowledge of working with clients.
We are sure that thousands of people have been inspired by the work of Andre Junget over the years, especially with him being around for so long. He would obviously appeal to traditional artists or digital artists who tend you use a Wacom tablet and Corel Painter for their work. These days, great results can be achieved from tablets with high pressure sensitivity. If your willing to spend some money, you can get some very realistic results visually speaking.
