Sometimes life hits you with something out of no where when you least expect it and it takes you for a whirl. This happened one day when I decided to go out shopping. I was supposed to go with some friends but they decided to cancel on me at the last second. I was pretty mad at first but came to the conclusion that I did not need them. I simply decided to go on my own.

I have always been an impulsive person when it comes to shopping, which is why I usually make sure to have some friends come with me in order to keep my buying tendency's in check. Since they weren't coming this time I had to promise myself to not go overboard with the cash. I turned this outing into an exercise in will to resist my temptations. I went shopping with the goal to only spend $150, and not a dime more.
Well, I took my time brows around and looking through all the shops. I spotted a one or two bags that perked my interest and took them with me. I was almost enticed to buy them on the spot but stuck with the promise I made myself. I looked through all the bags in the department until I finally spotted an elegant Prada bag across the plaza in another store displayed in a window. I knew at once that I had to have it. It was the most gorgeous bag I had ever seen.
Once I got to the shop I asked the salesman if I could look at the handbag. The salesman gave the bag over to me and stated it was the very last one. I felt so blessed, and when I turned over the price tag I was amazed to see the price was just under $150. I thought about just how the bag was so inexpensive because it was perfect in every facet, and Prada is definitely known for its high prices. I thought I would have had to haggle the insanely high price down. The salesman then told me that this bag was in fact a Prada replica which was why it was so cheap. At first I didn't believe it because the bag looked so genuine. Without a second though, I paid the man and went home. I was so happy and shocked that I got such an amazingly genuine bag for under $150.
When I got home I showed my mom my purchase and she could tell I was beaming with pride. My mom inquired on the cost of the purse and I told her it was $150. At first she didn't believe me because she knew right away that it must have been a genuine Prada. I told her it wasn't, it was actually a Prada replica. She couldn't believe it. She simply could not tell the difference. In fact, she still doesn't believe me to this day and says that I lied so she wouldn't get mad at me for spending so much money.
